- Agricultural Diploma/Degree specialising in poultry & poultry production, advantageous
- Minimum of 2 previous years’ experience in the poultry industry
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Must be fluent in English
- Ability to speak Zulu advantageous
- Inspect all houses regularly
- Assist with placements of day old chicks, vaccinations, alarms, set up of houses, moving of flocks from rear into lay, depletion of flocks, cleaning out of sites.
- Checking up all biosecurity measures are in place.
