RPO Recruitment is currently looking for a skilled Traffic and Transport Engineer to join our client in the engineering consulting industry in Cape Town. As a Traffic and Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expertise in traffic engineering and transportation planning for various projects.Responsibilities

Conducting traffic impact assessments and traffic studies
Developing transportation plans and solutions to improve traffic flow
Designing and implementing traffic management systems
Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to clients and project teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning
Proficiency in traffic engineering software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of local traffic regulations and transportation planning standards
