- Define, implement, and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, secure tenders, and sign new clients.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring performance.
- Manage supplier relationships, procurement planning, and cost negotiations.
- Oversee stock control, warehousing processes, and import/export logistics.
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor market trends, analyse data, and provide accurate forecasts and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or similar senior role.
- Marine industry experience would be highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, stock management, and import/export operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast, budget, and report effectively.
