Key Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities, secure tenders, and sign new clients.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, procurement planning, and cost negotiations.
  • Oversee stock control, warehousing processes, and import/export logistics.
  • Maintain and grow strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor market trends, analyse data, and provide accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and health & safety standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or similar senior role.
  • Marine industry experience would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, stock management, and import/export operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast, budget, and report effectively.
