Junior Legal Counsel

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (NDAs, Master Service Agreements, subcontracts, lease agreements, manpower agreements, etc.).
- Advise business units on commercial and legal risks, ensuring contracts align with company policies and approvals.
- Support tender negotiations, contract variations, and claims management (including court claims if required).
- Provide corporate legal support, including company secretarial matters.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, etc.) to drive compliance and business growth.
- Attend key client/supplier meetings, offering proactive legal and strategic input.
- LL.B & LL.M Degrees; admitted Attorney/Advocate in South Africa.
- 2-4 years PQE from a top-tier firm or multinational in-house legal team.
- Strong experience in corporate/commercial contracts and risk management.
- Familiarity with procurement and tender processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills - firm yet diplomatic.
- Fluency in French and/or Portuguese is a plus (not required).
