SHIP SUPERINTENDENT

• Manage all engineering requirements on designated vessels
• Manage internal workshops- and contractor's performance on designated vessels
• Ensure all day to day- and planned maintenance up to date
• Manage designated vessel drydocking
• Identify and ensure critical spares in stock
• Identify and manage approved upgrades and cost saving initiatives
• Compile and adhere to vessel budgets

• B.Tech, National Higher Diploma (T4) Mech Eng. or similar
• 10-15 years post qualification applicable ship repair experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be physically fit of sober habits and punctual
• Must be a team player with a 'can-do' attitude
• Viking Fishing will require contactable references
