Job Summary Hire Resolve's client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Instrument Mechanician in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.Responsibilities:

Carrying out repairs and maintenance on all Electrical & Instrumentation equipment in the Underground area
Involvement in small projects to improve equipment
Assisting supervisor in compliance with planned maintenance system
Carrying out root cause analysis (RCA) on instrument breakdowns
Carrying out scheduled and preventative maintenance on the Open Transport Network (OTN) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) hardware for the section
Ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards
Carrying out LEGAL checks on relevant equipment
Fault finding knowledge on ProfiBus DP/PA and ASI Bus systems

Requirements:

Grade 12
Trade Test Certificate
At least 3 years of working experience in industrial instrumentation
