Crossroads School invites suitably qualified and experienced therapists to apply for the post ofSPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST(Permanent Position)Available from 3 September 2024Crossroads School, founded in 1966, is a remedial, English-medium, co-educational preparatory school for some 200 learners, situated in Victory Park and is a member of the Independent Schools Association of South Africa.We are in search of a passionate and energetic Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of education and therapy professionals. The services they offer will be to individual children, small groups and larger classes.The successful candidate must have:
Relevant professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
HPCSA and SACE registration
Police clearance, sexual offenders register clearance and child protection register check
At least 2 years working experience as a Speech Therapist
Excellent command of the English language
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Interest in working with learners in individual, group and class therapy settings
Willingness to engage with duties associated with a school-based position
Experience in a remedial school would be an advantage.
