Accounts Payable Clerk - Johannesburg GautengSalary: R18k Per Month Maternity Cover ContractPurpose of Position:Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary contract (maternity leave cover) from March 2023. This is a 4 month contract based in Randburg, Johannesburg, Gauteng. Grade 12, with Diploma or Certificate in Bookkeeping or Accounting
Computer Literate | Google Workspace, Sage / ERP, Microsoft Windows, Android / Apple IOS
Knowledge and 5+ years working experience in Accounts Payable
Work well under pressure and deadline driven
Work well in a team
Analytical
Systematic and logical thinker
Good people skills

Duties:

Completion of credit applications
Prepare individual creditor recons
Clear reconciling items
Prepare and load payment runs
Allocation of payments in SAGE
Capture of creditors invoices/credit notes
Monthly cost review and accruals
Opening of A/P Sub ledger accounts
Liaison with suppliers
Collation of supporting documentation
Maintain vendor master info
Keep filing up to date
Follow up with branches on outstanding invoices
Resolve any queries with suppliers
Ensure timeous payment made to suppliers
Post remittances to suppliers
Assist with preparation audit and year end information
Interaction with all departments and all levels of people
Interaction with 8 plants and 4 depots spread across South Africa
Interaction with suppliers locally
Prioritizing payments in terms
Any ad-hoc as required
