• Perform scheduled and routine maintenance on all plant machinery, services and equipment. • Perform engineering inspections, identify problem areas and implement proactive plant maintenance and plant improvement corrective actions. • Attend to breakdowns as and when required to minimise downtime • Maintaining of all legal files and systems to required standards. • Minimise plant breakdown and down times by identifying root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to optimise plant availability. • Provide appropriate and adequate feedback and input to the Reliability Team Manager with respect to plant condition, spares and repairs carried out. • Assists and identify requirements for Critical spares list on Plant and Equipment. • Assist in improvement and implementation of maintenance schedules and special work instructions in designated areas. • Maintain housekeeping standards in the designated areas. • The ability to operate the automated and relevant process machinery to produce products for, production purposes as and when required.

• Matric / Grade 12. • Qualified Artisan (Electronic or Instrumech) with a recognised trade test certificate. • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment. • Working knowledge of Proximity sensors, VSD drivers, Control valves and Control loops. • Good understanding of Penumatic and Electro Pneumatic systems. • Ability to work a continues shift pattern to support plant requirements if needed • A good understanding and knowledge of safety standards, quality management and the production processes in a manufacturing environment • Standby duty and after hours maintenance as and when required • Computer literacy. • Own transport • Own Tools •
