- To play a key role, in conjunction with Management and the Golf Committee, in leading the Golf Club towards the achievement of its strategic and tactical goals.
- To achieve high standards of performance adopting effective management and leadership techniques.
- To professionally manage all aspects of internal and external marketing & communications of Golf Club (including Bar & and Padel facility) on a day-to-day basis
- To contribute to the achievements of the Club’s financial goals of increasing year on year revenue and profitability.
- Develop an effective marketing strategy for both internal (members) and external (guests) stakeholders.
- Increase memberships (golf, social & padel) as well as participation by members and visitors, across both facilities, in all events to generate maximum revenue.
- Manage the daily marketing of Golf Club, and The bar & Cafe on all platforms, keeping all information up to date, including but not limited to:
- Website
- My Club Account
- Social media
- Golf Ads
- Notice board
- Clubhouse
- Tour operators
- Develop effective marketing campaigns to promote golf, padel and social events.
- Design artwork for these marketing campaigns
- Manage the member & visitor databases of Golf Club
- Identify new opportunities to promote the Golf Club.
- Submit a monthly marketing report to the General Manager.
- Develop an effective communications strategy for both internal (members) and external (guests) stakeholders.
- Ensure the club’s calendars, golf, padel and social, are updated regularly with a rolling 3-month view.
- Keep members and guests abreast of upcoming events and important dates.
- Regular communications of all relevant information to members and guests.
- Compile the monthly newsletter.
- Ensure information from all departments is submitted on time to ensure the newsletter is compiled and sent by the determined deadline.
- Submit a monthly communications report to the General Manager.
- Manage the social media pages for all facilities
- Develop content for and maintain the social media pillars.
- Create a social media calendar with a rolling 3-month view of posts for planning purposes.
- Submit a monthly social media report to the General Manager.
- Develop, manage, analyse and report back on member and guest surveys.
- Promote and keep record of NPS rating.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Relevant digital marketing / communications degree.
- In depth knowledge and experience of digital marketing and communications.
- Must have an understanding of golf.
- Must be familiar with padel.
- Must have a good understanding of club events.
- Creative, innovative, entrepreneurial and tech driven.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Computer literate & social media savvy.
- Able to work independently.
