- Collaborate seamlessly with the sales team to discern customer requirements and address business challenges effectively.
- Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase, conducting product demonstrations, presentations, and engaging in technical discussions with clients.
- Design and propose customized technical solutions aligned with customer needs and our suite of products and services.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of proposed solutions, diligently compiling comprehensive technical documentation for future reference architecture.
- Develop and maintain meticulous technical documentation, including solution architectures, whitepapers, and reference materials.
- Execute proof-of-concept (POC) projects, illustrating the feasibility and value of our solutions to potential clients.
- Serve as a vital liaison between customers and internal teams, conveying valuable customer feedback and requirements to enhance technical service delivery.
- Remain abreast of technological trends, industry developments, and best practices to ensure the company's sustained technological competitiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and optimize product performance based on customer feedback.
- Lead and manage the technology team, overseeing hiring, training, and setting performance expectations.
- Identify and drive technological innovations that provide the company with a competitive edge.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with external technology vendors and partners.
- Ability to handle setup and configuration of enterprise solutions, adhering to best practices (network configuration, virtualization, replication, VLANs, and LUNs).
- Collaborate with other C-level executives to align technology initiatives with the overall business strategy.
- Spearhead the expansion of the technical services team to augment customer engagement.
- Dell Solutions and Services Competencies & Certifications are imperative.
- Relevant industry Certifications, such as VMware & Hyper-V Competency & Certification, are beneficial.
- Strong technical background with expertise in Dell Technologies (Full Stack), Pure Storage, or other Storage & Networking Technologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in solution design, architecture, and crafting technical proposals.
- Installation & implementation experience.
- Ability to lead and manage proof-of-concept projects, effectively showcasing the value of proposed solutions.
- Proficiency in creating technical documentation and sales collateral.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales and marketing.
- Willing to travel for client meetings, occasional conferences, and events.
- Up to R110 000 per month.
