
Financial Controller

- Compile monthly reports including GL reconciliations, accrual schedules, VAT compliance, and debtor reporting.
- Review income statements and balance sheets, highlighting variances and budget control.
- Complete reconciliations for intercompany loans, salaries, and cashbook.
- Prepare monthly stock mass balance and waste reporting.
- Capture, reconcile, and manage supplier invoices and payments.
- Raise accurate sales orders, invoice customers, and manage debtor collections.
- Resolve supplier and customer queries promptly.
- Oversee diesel, bailing wire, twine, and bag consumable reconciliations, usage tracking, and reordering.
- Manage daily and monthly stock counts, investigate variances, and compile financial loss reports.
- Monitor waste stock on-site and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Manage petty cash and company credit card reconciliations.
- Review and escalate overtime variances, manage time and attendance, and support payroll submissions.
- Monitor utilities usage (water, electricity, diesel) and reconcile against reported costs.
- Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and statutory compliance.
- BCom in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in financial controlling, management accounting, or similar role.
- Strong reconciliation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in stock, consumables, and cost control management.
- Advanced Excel skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
