Electronic Development Engineer (A11) / Elektroniese Ontwikkelingsingenieur (A11)

• Take instructions from the Research and Development Manager and the Managing Director regarding work that needs to be completed, including experiments, tests, or other physical and/or computer simulations of electronic systems.
• Produce reports for activities undertaken by the company.
• Inform the Research and Development Manager of the status of all tasks and activities assigned.
• Record all tests in a manner where such information is reasonably accessible to other team members.

• Use electronic design software, such as DesignSparkPCB, to generate schematics and PCBs if required.
• Documenting, including but not limited to, technical reports, technical studies, quality assurance documentation, procedures, bills of materials, and master design files.
• Produce embedded code and computer code for tasks as instructed, including programming embedded microcontrollers and computer systems (e.g., Embedded C on PIC 12, 16, 18, 32, Linux, Node.js, React).

• Research, development, and implementation of an automated stock control & PO requisition system within the company.
• Selecting, ordering, and purchasing components for projects.
• Conducting regular inventory audits.

• Assist the Research and Development team and other team members in executing projects.
• Inspect and evaluate PCB and schematic designs produced by other team members for quality control purposes once trained to do so.
• Assist with the maintenance of the company's telecommunications and network infrastructure.
• Identify areas for improvement, including production processes, administration, and development, and direct such observations to the responsible management persons.
• Provide guidance in collaboration with the team to achieve specific objectives.

• B.ENG or BTech Electronic Degree (Required).
• Able to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Technical Writing.
• PCB Design.
• Embedded C firmware development.
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Leadership ability must be able to provide training when requested.

• Volg instruksies van die Navorsing en Ontwikkeling Bestuurder en die Besturende Direkteur oor die werk wat gedoen moet word, insluitend eksperimente, toetse of ander fisiese en/of rekenaarsimulasies van elektroniese stelsels.
• Opstel van verslae vir aktiwiteite wat deur die maatskappy onderneem word.
• Hou die Navorsing en Ontwikkeling Bestuurder op hoogte van die status van alle take en aktiwiteite wat aan jou toegeken is.

• Navorsing en ontwikkeling van n outomatiese voorraadbeheer- en PO-aanvraagstelsel binne die maatskappy.
• Seleksie, bestel en aankoop van komponente vir projekte.
• Verskaf gereelde inventarisoudits.

• Assisteer die Navorsing en Ontwikkelingspan en ander spanlede in die uitvoering van projekte.
• Toets en evalueer PCB- en skematiese ontwerpe wat deur ander spanlede vervaardig word vir kwaliteitsbeheerdoeleindes nadat jy opgelei is om dit te doen.
• Help met die instandhouding van die telekommunikasie- en netwerk infrastruktuur van die maatskappy.
• Identifiseer areas wat verbeter kan word, insluitend produksieprosesse, administrasie en ontwikkeling, en rig hierdie opmerkings aan die verantwoordelike bestuurders.
• Verskaf leiding in die samewerking met die span om sekere doelwitte te bereik.

• B.ENG of BTech Elektroniese Graad (Verpligtend).
• In staat wees om onder druk te werk.
• Aandag aan detail.
• Tegniese Skryfwerk.
• PCB Ontwerp.
• Ingebedde C firmware-ontwikkeling.
• In staat wees om sperdatums te haal.
• Leierskapvermoë moet in staat wees om opleiding te verskaf wanneer dit versoek word.
