
Lodge Manager

- Oversee all lodge departments including Front of House, Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, and Guest Relations
- Manage the daily operation of the lodge to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Maintain the highest standards of guest experience across all touchpoints
- Train, develop, and motivate a multicultural team to consistently perform to high standards
- Handle stock and inventory control, procurement, and monthly reporting
- Assist with budgeting and cost control, and ensure financial targets and KPIs are met
- Ensure property maintenance and infrastructure upkeep are carried out proactively
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with company and legal requirements
- Coordinate and manage all lodge hosting responsibilities and guest interaction
- Minimum 35 years of experience in lodge or hospitality management (preferably in a Big 5 reserve)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in guest service delivery and conflict resolution
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and stock control
- Solid computer literacy including MS Office; knowledge of property/lodge management systems an advantage
- Must be highly organized, hands-on, and adaptable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license (Code B or higher)
