Tail Lift Technician

- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on tail lift systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Install tail lifts and related equipment on new or existing vehicles
- Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Adhere to company safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
- Use diagnostic tools and manuals for fault-finding and repair
- Support other workshop tasks as required
- Able to work alone / unsupervised
- Technically inclined with a hands-on approach
- Problem-solver with strong fault-finding ability
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Willing to work overtime and respond to call-outs
- Skilled in both mechanical and electrical systems (advantageous)
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics (advantageous)
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicle equipment
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Competence with power tools and welding (preferred)
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Valid Code 8 drivers license (non-negotiable)
- Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and stand-by shifts
- Company vehicle and phone provided for stand-by duty
- Workshop-based with field/mobile work/Stand-by.
- Overtime, weekend work, stand by.
- Company vehicle will be provided for Stand-by.
- Company Cell Phone will be provided.
- Own Car Required to get from and to work.
- Code 8 License is non-negotiable.
