They are seeking a meticulous and analytical professional to support their deal analysis and financial operations.Position OverviewWe are looking for a hybrid Real Estate Deal Analyst and Bookkeeper to join our client's team. This dual role is critical to the firm's success, requiring a sharp eye for detail in both financial underwriting and daily accounting. You will be responsible for filtering potential investment opportunities, conducting detailed financial analysis, and managing the company's complete bookkeeping cycle. The ideal candidate has a strong background in real estate investment analysis and is proficient in accounting practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDeal Analysis & UnderwritingUnderwrite and analyze potential real estate deals, with a primary focus on smaller single-family home flips.Filter through a pipeline of opportunities to identify which deals are worth pursuing.Provide detailed financial analysis and projections, including estimating project costs and potential returns.Utilize real estate software like Crixie, LoopNet, Zillow, and Redfin to research and evaluate properties.Bookkeeping & Financial ManagementManage the company's day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable.Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports.Utilize Excel and Google Sheets for data entry, financial modeling, and analysis.Required Skills and Experience2-3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis and/or bookkeeping.Strong financial modeling and underwriting skills.Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other productivity software.Excellent attention to detail and analytical capabilities.Background in project cost estimation and management.Preferred QualificationsExperience working directly with real estate investment firms.Knowledge of the Tampa, Florida real estate market.A formal bookkeeping or accounting certification/background.Familiarity with real estate software and online listing platforms (e.g., Crixie, LoopNet).
