Job description
The incumbent will be responsible for the physical and nutritional pig product specifications
and to attend to general nutritional items with regards to these speciesKey Performance Areas
Monitoring and documenting feed production in line with legislation
Product registrations with the Department of Agriculture
Supporting and assisting Purchasing Department with decisions on specialized raw materials
Provide nutritional support to the sales team
Maintain the contamination protocols in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
Planning farmers daysRequirements
University Degree in Animal Husbandry/Nutrition
Possession of a valid code 08/EB driver’s license
Holds a SACNASP registrationExperience
5 Years’ experience in a similar position in a Animal Feed environment
An understanding of HACCP and ISO 22 000 quality systems would be advantageous
