This role supports the Operations Manager in coordinating the supply chain and ensuring effective handling of customer queries, orders, and stock processes. You will oversee supply chain activities, compliance, customer service, staff supervision, and cost control to support smooth operations within the business.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and capture stock on SAP, ensuring accurate and timely distributionOversee stores control, stock counts, deliveries, inventory, damages, and redundant stockMonitor and manage consignment stock levels and reportingCreate purchase requisitions and ensure accurate SAP codingCoordinate and compile daily/weekly/monthly reports for managementSupervise staff schedules, training, and performance appraisalsEnsure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirementsMaintain strong customer relationships and address service issues proactivelyContribute to budget planning and monitor expenditure against financial guidelinesIdentify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvementsAbout YouDiploma in Supply Chain Management or related field (NQF 6)Up to 5 years experience in a supply chain role within a manufacturing environmentProficient in MS Office and SAP or similar ERP systemsStrong planning, organizational, and supervisory skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProactive and action-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesCustomer-focused and resilient under pressureAble to build relationships and work effectively in cross-functional teams
