Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Maintenance Manager - Poultry Farm who is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities on the poultry farm to ensure the efficient operation of equipment, buildings, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians.Responsibilities:

Organizing and coordinating daily duties in terms of maintenance.
Guiding Assistant Maintenance manager and supervisors to see to their daily duties.
Identifying maintenance needs and assisting with maintenance.
Controlling, supervising, and planning house preparation and cleaning.
Crisis Management ensuring that all portable electrical equipment is safe as per daily duty.
Ensuring weekly and daily checklist is completed for various equipment.
Ensuring that all monthly checklists are complete, including testing of equipment.
Completing preventive Maintenance on a monthly basis.
Taking stock of all equipment and consumables and keeping records.
Ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems are in good working condition.
Ensuring that all employees are following company policies and procedures.
Ensuring houses are thoroughly prepared before housing.
Relieving the Electrical on weekends and leave periods.
Keeping maintenance list of all motors and generators on the farm up to date.
Conducting maintenance and repairs within your scope in newly built or current houses.
Building new chicken houses and installing and commissioning all new equipment into houses.

Requirements

Relevant NQF 5 qualification.
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in maintenance.
Performance will be measured in accordance with Performance Management System.
