- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with veterinary customers, including direct and non-direct accounts, as well as veterinary wholesalers.
- Leverage technical expertise to detail and promote products, applying solution-selling techniques to meet customer needs.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the territory and customer base to identify high-potential veterinary and selected farmer customers.
- Organise and present at key farmer study group information events in collaboration with veterinary customers.
- Plan and execute promotions in line with marketing strategy while managing budgets effectively.
- Maintain accurate territory administration by regularly updating Salesforce, Touchpoint, and call planning records.
- A tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science (BVSc), Veterinary Nursing (BVetNurs/Dip.Vet.Verpl.), or a degree in Science, Agriculture, or Animal Science.
- 5 years of animal health experience with some sales exposure preferred.
- Previous sales and/or marketing experience in the Animal Health industry is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays.
- Technical, Commercial & General Skills:
- Strong technical proficiency with the ability to translate knowledge into effective product positioning.
- A customer-centric approach with solid business orientation.
- Competence in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and mobile-based platforms.
- Results-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and planning abilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English (Afrikaans proficiency is advantageous).
