RPO Recruitment is looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our client's Civil Engineering Company. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment used in the civil engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for mechanics and a desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on diesel-powered equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner
Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt adjustments
Troubleshoot and repair complex engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Trade certificate in Diesel Mechanics
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic in a similar role
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
