Employment Type: Independent ContractorJob Summary:The Sales Customer Experience Agent is responsible for converting inbound customer inquiries into confirmed rentals while delivering a friendly, professional, and seamless customer experience. This role is the first step and one of the most important drivers of our growth. It is designed for someone who thrives in customer-facing conversations, enjoys consultative sales, and can balance rapport-building with hitting clear performance targets. Success in this role comes from consistency, attention to detail, and a motivated, team-oriented mindset.Key Responsibilities:Sales and Conversion● Handle inbound inquiries (phone, email, chat) and convert them into booked rentals.
● Proactively follow up with missed calls, abandoned bookings, and open leads.
● Present our value proposition clearly and confidently to potential customers.Customer Experience● Guide customers through the full move-in process, from inquiry to confirmed rental.
● Explain pricing, promotions, deposits, policies accurately and transparently.
● Demonstrate detailed knowledge of each facility’s layout, access process, and key policies.
● Support existing customers with billing, account, or service related issuesSystems and Tools● Log all customer interactions, inquiries, and outcomes in the CRM and company systems.
● Stay current on facility layouts, site-level changes, SOPs, and promotions.
● Collaborate with the sales team to refine scripts, tools, and best practices.
● Consistently deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a strong sales focusQualifications:● 2 - 4+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar phone-based role
● Proven ability to convert inbound leads into sales using consultative techniques
● Clear and confident english communication skills, both verbal and written
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inquiries at once
● Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
● Comfortable using CRMs, cloud-based tools, and call-logging systems.Preferred Experience:● Background in self-storage, property rental, hospitality, or related industries.
● Experience with remote sales or customer service teams.
● Familiarity with following SOP-driven processes and working in a structured environment.
● Demonstrated success in upselling, handling objections, and exceeding sales targets
