- Drive development of projects in the pipeline & find new development opportunities
- Manage commercial negotiations for the signing of agreements such as: land lease agreements, servitudes, environmental impact assessments, regulatory approvals, electrical connection applications and agreements.
- Manage internal costs and external consultant costs in accordance with development budgets.
- Manage all external project stakeholders.
- Negotiate and secure offtake for the projects.
- Bring project to Financial Close as efficiently and rapidly as possible.
- Contract management of main project contracts and ensure compliance with permits.
- Manage implementation of project to bring to commercial operations within approved budget and timeline.
- Trading company establishment & management
- Secure electricity trading license from NERSA
- Establish and capacitate trading company
- Secure customer PPAs and build portfolio of customers
- Asset Management, including Operations & Maintenance
- Manage main project contracts including PPA, EIAs, and ensure compliance with permits.
- Represent the company’s interest to assure maximum profitability and return on investment.
- Oversight on Retail, Logistics and Commercial operations.
- Guide the business ensuring it achieves volume growth and financial performance targets.
- Build and maintain relationship with main supplier and relevant petroleum industry bodies.
- Strategic oversight and operations support to the businesses properties and ensure growth in network and sweat existing assets.
