A sound understanding and proven experience in allocations, analyzing data working cross-functionally to ensure that our stores are stocked with the right product at the right time to meet customer needs while maximizing sales and profitability.Key Performance Areas:
  • Allocation of Stock daily based on business strategies, sales trends, and inventory levels, ensuring optimal assortments by location t
  • Analyzing store performance to optimize business decision making by analyzing sales performance and sell-through data to identify opportunities and risks, adjusting allocations to respond to customer demand
  • Prepare and present weekly reporting on allocation performance, in-stocks, inventory health, and sales trends
  • Reporting, data analysis and ability to suggest solutions
  • Assist Planner in forecasting weekly replenishments for both stores and warehouse
  • Create and recommended new-store allocation plans
  • Assist in setting up and analyzing store grids
  • Cross Functional Collaboration with Buying, Merchandise and Store Operations teams to align on inventory strategies and seasonal objectives
  • Continuously seek ways to improve allocation processes and drive efficiencies
  • Become a super user of the Merchandising allocating and replenishing system
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role, experience in a retail corporate environment (added advantage)
  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Previous experience working with Business Intelligence Tools/Planning/Allocating Tools would be beneficial
  • Previous experience in a store allocating / planner role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
