Job Description We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Project Manager with a Quantity Surveying (QS) qualification and SACPCMP (Candidate or Registered) status. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in civil and building construction and will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to close-out. This is a hands-on, dynamic role requiring both technical expertise and strong leadership abilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage civil and building construction projects from start to finish (initiation to close-out). Oversee and coordinate all project phases including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion. Prepare and review cost estimates, pricing, and budgets. Ensure compliance with SACPCMP regulations and industry standards. Perform general management and administrative tasks related to projects. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site staff to ensure project delivery within time and budget. Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings with stakeholders. Ensure project documentation, reporting, and close-out procedures are completed accurately.
Key Requirements Quantity Surveying (QS) qualification. SACPCMP Candidate or Registered status (mandatory). Minimum of 10 years proven experience in civil and building construction. Strong track record of managing construction projects from initiation to completion. Excellent project management and leadership skills. Strong understanding of construction processes, pricing, and cost control. Ability to handle general management tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel and work anywhere in South Africa.
