Ensure Air Import and Export files are processed timely and accurately. Shipments are tracked frequently for ETA. Customers are kept updated. Liaising with service providers. Day to day Operational Registering of Air Import or Export Files on Cargo Wise Handling of handover over shipments to local agents. Tracking & Monitoring of shipments from origin until final delivery to client. Booking of collections and deliveries with Transporters Liaising with service providers Updating notes on Cargo Wise Send daily status reports / updates to customers Maintaining shipment E-docs on Cargo Wise Other general functions associated Finance Recovery of Agent Invoices Arranging payments of local third-party invoices Daily Invoicing of files 3rd party invoice query/resolution. Customer Direct communication with customers Acknowledge and assist with Customer queries Process Register files on Cargo Wise and handover to Customs department for entry framing. Once released from customs, arrange collection / delivery with the Transporter. Finalise Billing and send documents to customer
Knowledge & Experience Matric / Grade 12 A minimum of 2 Years experience in Clearing & Forwarding. Knowledge on systems such as Cargo Wise Office programmes Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Work Skills Decision making Communication Skills Time management Attributes Positive attitude Willing to learn Loyal, Honest & Trustworthy Adaptable Initiative
