Job SummaryKey Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and deliver CAPEX, refurbishment, and sustainability projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Lead feasibility studies and tender processes for both defensive and yield-enhancing projects.
  • Implement and oversee the backup power strategy and other utility efficiency initiatives.
  • Manage tenant installation projects from inception to handover.
  • Ensure compliance with OSH Act, health and safety regulations, and building compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the COO, Technical Manager, Asset Managers, and Utility Manager, as well as external contractors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Oversee SLA implementation for contractors and consultants to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain project documentation, warranties, designs, and compliance certifications.
  • Provide regular project reports and updates to senior management and the asset management team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Qualification/Degree/Diploma in Engineering or a related field (Renewable Energy qualifications advantageous).
  • 5–8 years proven construction, property, or project management experience at management level.
  • 5–10 years of energy-related project experience (solar, generators, water management) is advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of utility consumption, alternative energy solutions, and building operations.
  • Proven experience in CAPEX feasibility calculations and budgeting.
  • Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.
  • Above-average MS Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced).
  • Experience with MDA/MRI or similar property management/project tools is advantageous.
  • Red Seal qualification is beneficial.
  • Self-driven, methodical, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
