- Qualification in Environmental, Health and Safety Management
- SAMTRAC certification with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of EHS regulations and policies
- Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Internal auditing experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 standards
- Ability to deliver training sessions across all levels of staff
- Proactive, reliable, and responsible approach to work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good administrative and document management skills
- Experience in the packaging or manufacturing industry would be an advantage
- Firefighting certificate (Level 1) and a basic understanding of fire risk management
- Strong report writing skills
- Knowledge of food safety requirements and practices
- Support and maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 standards
- Conduct Health and Safety Induction Training for all personnel on site
- Maintain both electronic and physical SHE documentation systems
- Carry out internal SHE audits and assist with corrective actions
- Conduct and review HIRAs (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments), WSWPs (Work Safe Work Procedures), and PJOs (Planned Job Observations)
