- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of biomedical devices.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards and guidelines, including those set by local and international health authorities.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability for timely repairs and maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in the biomedical engineering field.
- Extensive knowledge of biomedical equipment, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and life-support devices.
- Proven experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
