Experience in teaching in an independent school would be advantageous, but is not a pre-requisite.Further requirements include the following:
- At least 3 years' teaching experience
- Support of the school's religious ethos
- A willingness to participate fully in the school's co-curricular programme
- Computer literacy
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Sound organizational and administrative skills
- A proven track record at F.E.T. level (particularly Grade 12)
- Sound knowledge of both the G.E.T. and F.E.T. curricular offering
- Strong leadership skills and a high degree of flexibility
- A willingness to exercise oversight over staff members who teach in a related field of study
- S.A.C.E. registration
- Police clearance certificate
