Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Advantageous)
6+ Years experience in a Customs Brokerage Supervisor/Management role
Previous working experience within the Freight Forwarding/Global Logistics industry will be advantageous
Strong knowledge and understanding of Global Logistics Industry
Fully Computer literate (MS Office Suite Applications)
Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence

Key Performance Areas:

Manage and oversee all Customs Brokerage Operational Standards | ensure all classification instructions for all shipments | monitor duty deferment usage and levels | monitor license/visa applications
Ensure strong support structure to sales team and accompany to client meetings as Subject Matter Expert
Maintain strong relations with Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and training
Promote Productivity Tools (edoc, process management, customs ware usage, Expo customs)
Audit files in accordance with AEO | Follow up refunds with customs authorities | Management of customs system
Reporting (client reports, expo request and reporting, duty/vat
Implement new system changes and enhancements
Staff Management | goal setting and monitor of development
