1. Leadership & Team Development
o Lead, mentor, and develop a technical department, including developers, contractors, system administrators, and network specialists.
o Drive a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.2. Supplier & Partner Management
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
o Ensure that supplier services align with company goals and deliver value.3. Strategic Contribution
o Define and articulate a vision for how technology supports business strategy.
o Collaborate with managers across the business to ensure technology integrates seamlessly with business objectives.
o Establish timelines for the development and deployment of technology solutions.4. Privacy & Security
o Ensure all customer information is protected in compliance with data privacy standards.
o Maintain robust information security practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.5. Product Development & Innovation
o Identify product opportunities in collaboration with marketing, cx and stakeholders.
o Drive the design and development of new online products and services.
o Maintain 1-grid's competitive edge through adoption of new technologies and methodologies.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Quality and scalability of systems developed and maintained
- Delivery of technical projects within agreed timelines and budgets
- Employee engagement, retention, and team development
- Effective supplier and vendor performance management
- Compliance with privacy and security standards
- Successful delivery of new product launches and enhancements
- Knowledge & Skills:
o Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software architecture.
o Expertise in open-source stacks (Linux, MySQL) and virtualization (KVM, Hyper-V).
o Knowledge of information security, compliance standards, and public cloud solutions.
o Excellent communication and leadership skills with high emotional intelligence
- Experience:
o Over 5 years of experience leading or managing technical teams of 10+ members.
o Preference: Experience working in web hosting environments, including migrations and service launches.
