A leading Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial management, reporting, and analysis to support operational, budgeting, and strategic decision-making across the Group.Duties:

Manage the financial accounting function across multiple projects.
Prepare monthly management accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Analyse financial performance against budgets and highlight variances.
Oversee banking, cash management, and daily/monthly cash flow.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and statutory obligations (VAT, PAYE, etc.).
Liaise with Auditors and maintain robust internal controls.
Manage fixed assets, insurance claims, trade debtors, and creditors.
Support the preparation of annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Supervise and mentor junior finance staff as required.
Undertake ad hoc financial projects and group administrative duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification (SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA) preferred.
3–5 years relevant experience in financial accounting or financial management.
Proficiency in SAGE Evolution and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Solid understanding of IFRS and audit practices.
