To design solutions and deliver effective user-centric and intuitive analytics tools and dashboards for key talent and HR. Further, to help provide operational support on Talent projects and talent development activities to ensure effective delivery of the Talent strategy.Job ResponsibilitiesLeverage understanding of the HR business area and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the HR Value Chain (product owners, cluster HR etc.), Service Management, Technology and the Business to identify the people data challenges and requirements to be solved.Proactively partner with the technology (data engineers, BW specialists and data architects) to refine data requirements and develop technical solutions to deliver raw data for analysis and interpretation. Ensure sustainable data delivery to meet the ongoing people data and analytics requirements of the product and service areaDesign fit for purpose people data interpretation & analysis approaches & create customized data models, algorithms, machine learning tools and recommendation engines to achieve the desired business outcomesDerive descriptive and predictive people analytics and insights and translate these in the language of business directing clear recommendations and implications for workforce optimization and workforce experienceDeliver an exceptional workforce experience by empowering HR Product Owners, Employees, Line Managers and business leaders with relevant, timely, accurate data driven insights that is used for business decision makingUse storytelling and data visualization techniques to maximize impact & deliver a user friendly, commercially relevant data product (reports, insights, dashboards etc.) to businessPromote data literacy across the enterprise by sharing best practices and coaching the HR community on the value and impact of powerful dataMaintain HR data tools, reporting, and dashboards.Produce and deliver standard (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and customized HR reports.Respond to HR data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit HR data and troubleshoot irregularities. Support data governance processes.Human Capital Reporting and Analysis, focuses on trends in headcount, diversity turnover/retention, mobility, talent management, recruitment, competitive landscape and career progression.Job Responsibilities ContinueConduct external benchmarking on key metrics, analytics practices and toolsCreate and proactively update Talent Management materials such as PowerPoints, toolkits, intranet pages, electronic forms and more.Run necessary project and performance management reportsProvide support in setting up surveys and assist with talent metric analyses for necessary projectsCoordinate dates with different teams as they relate to Talent Management and development programs, onboarding, etc.Capture and analyse data received from learning sessionsManaging inductions for participants and liaising with heads of departments and other key staff to ensure participants are properly introduced to the programmeEnsure project trackers are up to date, follow up with team members working on projectsAssist in various Talent Management Projects as needed – putting together materials, formatting, etc.Helping develop and maintain processes and systems for effectively communicating information about projects and talent development activitiesEnsuring there is a useful, coherent, well managed experience for all individuals participating in the programmes ensuring mutual benefit to participants and company.Run site and company inductions for a range of participants and ensuring they feel fully briefed before beginning an activityHelping ensure our talent development programme is delivering its learning objectives and outcomes for participantsMonitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness.Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.Minimum Experience Level1 + years’ experience in analytics, BI, reporting, data visualisation etc. with some demonstrated people data & analytics / cross domain HR experience1 + years’ experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models with at least 1-2 of these years working in people data & analytics1+ years of HR experience; professional services industry experience is preferredStrong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookProficiency in advanced Excel techniques, including v-lookup, macros and other “cleanup” methods to help focus on data integrityFamiliarity with performance management and HRIS systemsStrong written and verbal communication skills, as well as critical thinking and creative skillsMeticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlinesA proactive attitude and an ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility, high energy, and a positive attitudeAbility to understand and communicate the meaning of the analysis with individuals in a wide range of strategic and executional roles, in written and oral form, with intuitive understanding of what the analysis implies and how it would be affected by changes in assumptions Preferred experienceKnowledge and experience working with Agile and DevOps methodologies and toolsExpertise in data analysis, configuration and mining from ERP systems (SAP Preferred) and associated Cloud Solutions and Business / Data Warehouses (e.g. BW & SAP4HANA)Experience in data visualisation tools e.g., Power BI, other Microsoft tools, SharePoint, SAP, Performance AnalyticsDeveloping experience in / aptitude for applying and implementing machine learning and AI in the people analytics context with proven track record in enabling predictive analytics etc. as a resultPreferred experience optimising and building complex data sets with knowledge of & experience in e.g., Java, Scala, Python, Hadoop, Apache Spark, SQL, R and Kafka etc. / otherProven experience in optimising, interpreting, analysing, & transforming data by leveraging some of the following data science skillsAbility to translate complex data into simple and effective communication for line / business consumption (can speak the language of the business)Demonstrated curiosity and innovation mindset – with demonstrated ability to transform the data environmentEssential Qualifications - NQF LevelAdvanced Diplomas/National 1st DegreesPreferred QualificationBachelor's / Honors/ Master's Degree in Statistics, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Science, EngineeringTechnical / Professional KnowledgeProject managementAnalytics & instructional design toolsReporting & data analysisBasics of Talent ManagementCoordination and organisingDisclaimerPreference will be given to candidates from the underrepresented groupsPlease contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at +27 860 555 566-Please contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at +27 860 555 566
