Job Summary Role: Compliance Monitoring Officer
Location: Western Cape, Somerset West

As a Compliance Monitoring Officer, you’ll be the guardian of the company’s integrity. You’ll make sure policies, procedures, and controls don’t just exist on paper, but actively protect the business while building trust with clients and stakeholders.
You’ll be part of a supportive Compliance Team in South Africa, working closely with our Associate Director of Compliance abroad, ensuring together that the company remains safe, compliant, and future-ready.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Ensuring client due diligence is gathered and maintained to the highest standard, in line with internal policies.
  • Conducting periodic reviews, identifying gaps, recording deficiencies, and creating action plans for remediation.
  • Screening clients using systems and open-source searches, monitoring results, and investigating potential risks or adverse matches.
  • Performing compliance monitoring in line with AML, CFT, and CPF regulations, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Helping develop, implement, and improve policies and procedures to make processes practical, efficient, and effective.
  • Supporting colleagues with day-to-day compliance queries and contributing to training initiatives.
  • Participating in training sessions to expand your regulatory knowledge.
  • Supporting new initiatives and projects to drive business success.
  • Reflecting and upholding the company’s values in every action.
