As a Pharmacist Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that pharmaceutical and front-shop products are well-displayed, correctly priced, and adequately stocked to promote sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. They work closely with the pharmacist, store manager, and suppliers to manage inventory, implement planograms, and maintain attractive product displays in line with health regulations.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Merchandising and Display:Arrange and display pharmaceutical, health, beauty, and wellness products according to store layout or planogramEnsure all products are properly labeled with prices and promotional signageRotate stock regularly (first-in, first-out) to prevent expired productsStock Management:Monitor and replenish stock levels of scheduled and over-the-counter (OTC) itemsAssist with receiving, unpacking, and checking deliveries from suppliersIdentify fast-moving and slow-moving stock and report to supervisor or pharmacistPromotions and Sales Support:Set up promotional displays for new products or special offersCoordinate in-store product launches or seasonal campaignsSupport marketing initiatives through visual merchandisingCustomer Interaction:Assist customers with locating products in the pharmacyProvide general product information (non-clinical) and refer clinical queries to the pharmacistOffer assistance during promotional eventsCompliance and Housekeeping:Ensure displays meet health and safety regulationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, counters, and promotional standsRemove expired or damaged stock in accordance with pharmacy policyRequirements:Grade 12 / Matric (essential)Retail, pharmacy, or merchandising experience (advantageous)Knowledge of pharmacy products and layout (preferred)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication and customer service skillsPhysically fit and able to handle stock and product setupThe post appeared first on .
