Our client in the Pome Fruit industry have an opportunity for potential candidates. A 2- year development process to become qualified as a technical assistant with specific focus in horticulture pre-harvest.Minimum requirements:
- National Senior Certificate with at least 50% in: Mathematics or Technical Mathematics, Biology and Physical Science
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to self-learning
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to attend periodic industry courses
- Willing and driven to pass online certification exams
- Ability to handle pressure
- Physically fit and healthy
