You’ll be representing our trusted range of industrial hygiene chemicals, providing expert solutions that align with clients' food safety and operational requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new business through cold calling, networking, and market intelligence.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing clients by building strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client operations and recommend appropriate hygiene solutions from our product range.
- Conduct product presentations, on-site demonstrations, and technical consultations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Provide product support and guidance on application and compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes in the food & beverage sector.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates.
- Tertiary qualification in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial hygiene chemicals or similar products within the food & beverage industry.
- In-depth understanding of food processing, dairy, or beverage production environments.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability in sales strategy, negotiation, and deal closing.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
