Type: Full-time, PermanentJob Purpose:We are seeking driven and enthusiastic Junior Technical Sales Representatives in Johannesburg. The successful candidates will support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities, promoting and selling pump solutions, and building strong customer relationships across various sectors.Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell a range of industrial pumps and related equipment.
- Assist in identifying new markets and customer needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and site visits with prospective clients.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to customers based on their requirements.
- Prepare and deliver quotations and follow up on outstanding proposals.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure after-sales support.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and leads via CRM tools.
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, logistics, admin) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Matric (Grade 12) essential; relevant tertiary qualification (mechanical/industrial/technical) advantageous.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in pumps, valves, or fluid handling equipment.
- Technical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems or industrial applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong customer service ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Total Cost to Company: R18 000 – R20 000 per month (inclusive of fuel allowance)
