Production Line Manager - Manufacturing - Cape TownFull job descriptionProduction Line ManagerCAPE TOWN - WEST COAST· Responsible for maintaining workflow and ensuring all production processes are followed through. Ensure production plans are achieved by assigning personnel.· Responsible for effective utilization of raw materials of all shifts· Ensure quality levels are maintained.· Ensure correct identification, labelling of finished product.· Practise and apply Health and Safety practices.· In conjunction with Maintenance plan routine maintenance jobs, unscheduled breakdowns, etc.· Responsible for ensuring waste rate is minimised.· Keeping records of shift outputs etc· Maintain documentation iro audits etc.· In conjuntion with other departments ensure maximum quality of production outputs· Participate in regular meetings, seminars, and training sessions etc.· Manage all Production personnel.Experience and Qualifications· Grade 12· 5-8 years overall working experience essential· Of which 6 years in a similar position of people management· Plastic or Nonwoven Manufacturing experience (advanatagous)· Trade tested Millwright / Fitting and Machining / Fitting· Computer literate· ERP experience (SAP preferably)· ISO 9001 system experience· Reside in and around Atlantis or Cape Town area.Job Type: Full-time
