- Honours or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Demography, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, particularly within development, consulting, or public sectors.
- Proficiency in advanced quantitative data analysis using statistical software such as R, Stata, and Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in modeling, with advanced skills in Excel for modeling using both primary and secondary data.
- Ability to develop informed assumptions to facilitate modeling in contexts with limited data and information.
- Proficiency in translating data into compelling visuals.
- Possesses a systems-change mindset and approaches technical issues with creativity.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Office 365 suite and data management tools and software.
- Capable of working independently and prioritizing workload effectively.
- Takes ownership and encourages accountability for delivering results, while anticipating, planning, and monitoring progress.
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, innovation, and adaptability.
- Works collaboratively and engages effectively with colleagues and partners.
