You’ll take charge of our full financial function, which includes but is not limited to:
- Preparing monthly financial statements and reports for the company and group management.
- Implementing, managing, and monitoring financial systems, procedures, controls, and policies.
- Traveling between branches and client sites to oversee operations.
- Assisting with the training and development of administrative staff.
- Managing a team of administrative personnel.
- Conducting monthly and annual audits.
- BCom in Accounting or Financial Management.
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience in the retail/automotive/logistics/freight space (advantageous).
- Prior experience in finance or accounting within the asset leasing sector is highly desirable.
- Background in managing finances for farming or fuel station operations would be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong overall computer literacy.
- Ability to perform under pressure, with a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to travel for monthly branch visits and having a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Effective time management skills and a leadership style grounded in integrity and honesty.
