Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee daily store operations, including staff supervision and scheduling
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle client queries or complaints professionally
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage suppliers to ensure the availability of products
  • Maintain quality, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
  • Drive sales and meet store targets through effective merchandising and promotions
  • Manage cash-ups, banking, and financial controls within the store
  • Train, motivate, and develop staff to deliver high performance
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
  • 3–5 years’ retail management experience (butchery/poultry/FMCG industry advantageous)
  • A Retail Management or Business Administration certificate/diploma (advantageous)
  • Food Safety / Hygiene Certificate (advantageous)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Knowledge of stock control, ordering, and supplier management
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Must be flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
