Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It: As our Sales Representative, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize agriculture in Southern Africa. Here's what you'll be up to:Your Responsibilities:A. Development and Execution of Sales Budget:
  • Dive deep into the world of agriculture to identify equipment needs.
  • Craft an annual sales budget with a focus on key products.
  • Create per-country sales plans that hit the mark.
  • Strive to meet and exceed unit and GP sales targets.
  • Keep a watchful eye on budget performance, offering timely feedback and corrective actions.
B. Sales & Marketing Actions:Selling – In:
  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with dealers and co-ops to drive project sales.
  • Ensure products are delivered according to sales floor plans.
  • Help identify financing and insurance options.
  • Manage risk effectively in the sales process.
Selling - Out:
  • Promote our brand and products through innovative actions and activities.
  • Engage with agricultural communities, institutions, and more.
  • Identify opportunities and spark interest in our offerings.
  • Connect with farmers and potential customers to create demand and guide them to our dealers.
  • Execute activities in line with our sales and marketing plans.
Stock Management:
  • Coordinate stock delivery with our logistics team.
  • Keep a watchful eye on your portfolio's stock, ensuring it aligns with company directives.
  • Arrange equipment delivery and commissioning for customers.
Administration:
  • Master your knowledge of all our products in the countries you cover.
  • Keep meticulous records of administrative work.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Track expenses diligently.
  • Share valuable lead and customer insights with the sales team.
  • Maintain open communication with the Business Development Manager and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Your Profile:Education:
  • Minimum: Post-Matric Certificate/Diploma
  • Ideal: Degree in agriculture/business/marketing or a related field
Experience:
  • Up to 3 years of product application knowledge
Knowledge:
  • Agricultural Mechanization: Familiarity with the principles and complexities of Agricultural Mechanization.
  • Customer and Personal Service: Understanding of customer needs, quality service standards, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
  • Business Knowledge: Grasp of successful business principles and their application, including financial acumen.
