The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a passion for working with heavy-duty and agricultural equipment.ResponsibilitiesConduct regular inspections and diagnostics on diesel-powered machineryPerform fault finding and troubleshooting on heavy construction, mining, and farming equipmentExecute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiencyRepair and overhaul diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and drive trainsMaintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standardsSupport project teams with on-site mechanical assistance when requiredRequirementsRed Seal Certification in Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (EEM) or Diesel Mechanic DiplomaMinimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in construction or agricultural sectorsProficient in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faultsHands-on experience with mining, heavy machinery, and farming equipmentStrong understanding of preventative maintenance proceduresAbility to work independently and in a team environmentBenefits
