The successful candidate will be responsible for:· Developing and implementing sales plans and strategies of a diverse portfolio calling on retailers and growing the market within the allocated region according to the company’s strategy.· Identifying new opportunities with new and existing customers.· Pro-actively sourcing information from the industry to gain an understanding of the processes.· Visiting customers and compiling sales reports.· Gaining product and market knowledge to ensure constant market gain.· Ensuring profit margin levels are maintained.· Effectively implementing price increases and maintaining monthly/quarterly price lists for customers.· Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with new and existing customers.· Compiling quotations and following-up on orders, ensuring that clients are informed of any stock backorders or delivery times.· Liaising with customers and arranging client meetings.Minimum requirements for the role:· Minimum Matric.· Previous sales experience· Ability to build and foster strong relationships with customers.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.· Own car with valid driver’s license is essential.The post appeared first on .
