Purpose of the job:The Stakeholder Relations and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's strategy, building and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring effective communication about the organization's goals, activities, and impact. This role requires strong communication, relationship management and strategic thinking skills.Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
  • Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy.
  • Manage stakeholder mapping, prepare communications to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement co-ordinators, providing guidance and directing the co-ordinators workload. activities to ensure timescales and requirements are met
  • Work collaboratively with all the company's employees including but not limited to management and junior employees.
  • Provide briefings and support to other managers and teams.
  • Arrange and attend stakeholder meetings with team members and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to operational teams are responded to within agreed timescales.
  • Prepare, manage and facilitate workshops, roundtable and forum logistics including developing agendas, project plans, minute taking and production of reports.
  • Ensure accurate audit trail maintained of all stakeholder engagement and all contact/activities are recorded on stakeholder database
  • Attend client-facing meetings, collaborative planning workshops and report to clients on progress of their queries.
  • Provide input into weekly/monthly reports for MANCOM and EXCO.
  • Manage the customer, membership and CSI co-ordinator and ensure all their KPAs and KPIs are met.
  • Provide quarterly board reports and report into the stake works committee.
  • Action all items arising from the stake works committee
  • Maintain and track the efficiency of the query resolution process.
  • Ensure all communication across the organisation's communication platforms adheres with set standards.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail, a passion for problem solving skills and experience in developing and successfully implementing stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Good interpersonal, networking, customer relations skills and highly articulate team player.
  • Great communication, reading and writing skills.
  • Ability to research, analyse and apply knowledge gain
  • Willing to learn systems provided by the company including the company's portal.
  • Strong and proven ability to be innovative and think outside of the box.
  • Be able to take and execute instructions very well
  • Ability to delegate team members while working on their work.
  • Ability to meet deadline dates and work well under pressure.
  • Be able to take full responsibility in their work.
  • Strong project management and people management skills
  • Ability to schedule work and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Broader project communications experience and media relationships.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:
  • A degree/diploma in communication management or equivalent.
  • Proven 5 years' experience in a management position
  • Understanding of music business processes, and CMO or publisher operations with an interest in the music industry and related political environment.
  • Great communication, reading and writing skills
  • Demonstrated skill in query resolution and time management.
  • Customer liaison and stakeholder relations experience will be an added advantage.
