- Renders direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing within scope of practice, health promotion, and preventative care.
- Examines patients and compiles medical data, including health history.
- Documents and maintains patient records of services and related records.
- Participates in employee training and orientation programs.
- Participates in marketing activities, as per direction from management or self-driven.
- Provides medical attendance at events, if required.
- Ensures that equipment is maintained and emergency vehicles are cleaned daily and in operational order.
- Ensures that an accurate log of all travel is maintained.
- Process stock replenishing requests and ensure effective accountability thereof.
- Good communication skills are a must. Must be able to understand and converse in Afrikaans at a basic level.
- Ability to read and interpret all required documents and write required reports and correspondence.
- Fully competent with Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (One & two rescue CPR, Heimlich maneuver and basic sweep of airway)
- Sound knowledge of applicable Personal Protective Equipment and Scene Safety.
