Hire Resolve is currently seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Lead to join our client's team in the retail industry. As a Software Development Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the software development efforts for our retail projects.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions, and driving innovation in our retail applications. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.If you have a passion for the retail industry and a strong background in software development leadership, we would love to hear from you!Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to define project requirements and prioritization.
Architect and design software solutions for retail applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Drive the adoption of best practices and development methodologies within the team.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, meeting project deadlines and client expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts and resolve technical challenges.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance our retail applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of coding languages, systems, patterns, and methodologies: C#, MS SQL; T-SQL, Web API 2 / Core & Rest web services, .NET Core, ASP.Net, WinForms; UWP, Entity Framework 6+, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, SSRS, MVC, MSSQL Server, HTML 5, JavaScript, GitJIRA, and Agile development methodologies
Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
6+ years experience as a Software Developer
Experience designing and developing enterprise grade software.
Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment

environments * Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum

Experience with multi-threading and concurrency
Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development

techniques and theories * Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Experience with Agile methodologies and development practices.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
