We are recruiting for aHuman Resource Manager for Howick and Ladysmith Private Hospitals. Thecandidate must be based in Ladysmith and must travel to Howick as and whenrequired.Location: Howick andLadysmithJob Grade: D1Benefits: Pension Fund andMedical Aid: What we are looking for:ACI CandidatesMust come from the Hospitality or Private Hospital Industry.The candidate will be based in Ladysmith and will travel to Howick as and when required. Role Summary:The Human Resource Manageris responsible for the provision of supporting line managers in the executionof human resources related activities and to consult on the people component ofthe unit's business plan. The incumbent will further be required to participateas a credible business partner by developing human resources solutions that addvalue to the business units core strategic focus areas. Key Work Output andAccountabilities:Proactively advise and educate managers and employees on how to address IR issues such as employee performance, employee conduct and inappropriate interpersonal actions.Ensure achievement of transformation goals as set out by the Transformation CommitteeMaintain effective working relationships with local learning institutions and recruitment agencies to expand pool of candidatesGuide and motivate others to take action in supporting organizational change.Foster a learning environment that encourages openness, information sharing, inquiry, and trust. Provide opportunities for continuous adult learning in the Business Unit and/ or Area.Influence the implementation of all transformation strategies including Employment Equity.Ensure that all standard and non-standard personnel administration queries and work requests are resolved efficiently and effectively with the required SLA's and turnaround times.Actively involved in all HR Strategic Projects. Inherent Requirements :A three-year Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or an equivalent NQF level 7 qualification.Minimum 3-5 years Human Resources Generalist experience, operating as a transformation or change agent.Minimum 5 years experience on a management levelExtensive experience within a unionized relations experience is essentialGood knowledge of Remuneration, Talent Management, Transformation, Recruitment and Selection, Learning and Development, Organizational Design and Re-engineering , IR and Performance ManagementComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travel for meetings and workshops in and around the countrySAP and Kronos time and attendance experience will be an advantage If you meet therequirements and interested, kindly send your CV to Admin1@samtharecruit.co.za
